Faridkot deputy commsioner Punamdeep Kaur has said that yoga training classes,under the flagship programme by chief minister Bhagwant Mann as “CM di Yogshala,are daily being held at vaious palces in the distict.
These training classes are held free of cost.
“Yoga classes in Faridkot are being held by trainer Chander Bhan at drug-deaddiction entre and at Kotkapura, the classes are being held in government school Surgapuri by trainer Kiran Rani,” said DC Faridkot.
The classes are held from 4.30 to 5.30PM.
Yoga coordinator in the district, Neha informed that 24 such Yoga traing classes are being held in the district at various places.
“The yoga is very helpful for the patients of cervical, backpain, knee joint aches, diabetes, mental stress, obesity and many other diseases,” said Neha.
The government has issued a yoga helpline no 76694-00500.
“The people can give a missed call where there about 25 people want to get training at their Mohalla or any locality,” reads the press note issued to the media today.
The DC has appealed to more and more people to come to attend yoga classes for the health benefits.
Rs 446.59 crore have been credited to the farmers accounts as payment of wheat-DC
Deputy commissioner Faridkot Punamdeep Kaur has told the media that Rs 446.59 crore payment of wheat has been made to the farmers so far.
“About 302921 LMT wheat has been procured out of the total arrival of 326653 and procurement process is going smoothly in the district,” the DC said.
