In two cases, extra marital relations led to the murder,another happened due to family dispute.

In less than three days since the first incident of the murder took place, the district police have claimed to have solved all the three murder cases which took place in the past three days by arresting all the 7 accused in the three separate cases.
“Murder of Jagmohan Singh resident of village Sandhwan took place on the intervening night of July 6/7 and a case in this regard was registered at Sadar police station Kotkapura on the complaint of Inderjeet Singh,brother of the deceased.The police have arrested three accused in the case including a juvenile.From the investigation, it has come to fore that the victim was killed because the accused suspected he had some relationship with his wife,” said Pragya Jain,SSP Faridkot addressing a press conference here.
The police have arrested Chand Singh,his wife Harbans Kaur besides a juvenile.
“The second case of blind murder was registered at police station Sadar Faridkot on July 8.In this case,a man called Inderjeet Singh from village Kameana had been murdered. Working on the technical inputs and other leads, the police have arrested Manpreet Kaur,wife of the deceased, another man Ravinder Kumar alias Sukha, the main accused who had allegedly shot Inderjeet Singh dead at his house at village Kameana besides his father Tej Singh.A .315 bore Desi revolver has also been recovered from his possession,” the SSP said.
“Manpreet Kaur,wife of the deceased, had been living in relationship with the accused Ravinder alias Sukha at Faridkot.The accused conspired to eliminate Inderjeet Singh with his father Tej Singh and Manpreet Kaur,” informed Pragya Jaian,SSP Faridkot.
The SSP said that apart from others,the dog squad had also been very helpful in tracing the accused.
Sukha is a resident of Muktsar district.
“The third case of murder was registered at city police station Faridkot on July 9,on the complaint of Gurbax Singh,who had alleged that his daughter Rajbir Kaur alias Rajni had been murdered.In this case, the police have arrested Rachpal Singh, the husband of the deceased from village Basti Nanaksar of Faridkot.Rajni was living separately from her husband because of family dispute and when she reached village Basti Nanaksar to meet her children, the accused killed her by hitting her with a wooden stick,” the SSP said.
“The district police have solved all the three cases of murder which took place in the past three days and all the accused have been arrested, “the SSP said.
