Coming down heavily on the Narendra Modi led BJP government that it has allegedly bowed down to the US President Donald Trump allegedly accepting the US conditions of entering into the free trade agreement,Dallewal has said that his outfit Sanyukta Kisan Morcha(Non Political) would strongly oppose the proposed free trade agreement between the US and India by burning the effigies of the US President Donald Trump on June 4 across the nation and would submit the charter of demands to the President of India through the DCs during its nation wide protest chalked out at June 4.

“A high level delegation is going to visit India to nearly finalise the Free trade  agreement soon.If it is executed, Indian dairy farmers, fisheries and poultry sector would be finished. We want to keep all the agriculture related fields excluded from the duty free trade as our farmer can not compete the highly subsidised US farmers .Any product being imported from the US be imposed a heavy duty so that the Indian farmers could be kept safe,” said Jagjeet Singh Dallewal, speaking to the Punjab Express.com.

“Actually, the Narendra Modi led government has failed to protect the interests of the farmers and it has nearly surrendered their rights before the US President allegedly for petty gains to get benefit for a few tycoons/industrialists.lf all the agriculture related products are imported duty free from the US, our dairy farmers, fisheries, poultry sector and others would be finished and our farmers would be forced to commit suicide as the US farmers are provided heavy subsidies while ours are mostly very small farmers without much government aid,” said Dallewal.

“We are advocating the rightful and genuine demands of the farmers, including the guaranteed MSP on all crops, implementation of Swaminathan Commission report, and fulfil the promises made to the farmers during the agitation in Delhi. But now the government of India, we have learnt, is going to bequeath the rights of the farmers to the US President, allegedly under some pressure,’ alleged Dallewal.

“But we shall not let it happen,” he said,

“Earlier, India was buying cheap fuel from Russia, but under the US pressure, India has stopped importing cheap fuel from Russia and now we are buying fuel at much more higher price from other countries. It is hitting hard every household and common  man is suffering a lot.Inflation is too high and common man can hardly make both ends meet,” said Dallewal, in a press note released to the media today.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the PM of one of the largest democracy with a population of about 140 crore, but as he has allegedly surrendered to the US,inflation is going to hit hard its 140 crore people. So we urge our PM to stand up against the US to safeguard the rights of its people and do not enter any such agreement where there is free trade agreement and Indian market is flooded by the duty free agriculture products. It would ruin our people and economy,” Dallewal said.
