Barnala Sports and Social Welfare club, an NGO promoting sports and education has honoured two students,Akshnoor Kaur, a resident of village Landhe and Jashanpreet Kaur Gill, a resident of village Sirsari in an impressive show today.
Both the girls, who had topped the PSEB class 10th examination held in March 2025, are the students of Sant Mohan Das Senior Secondary School village Kotsukhia in district Faridkot.
The girls were awarded mementoes,shawls and other useful material to promote their education.
The awarding ceremony,held in Barnala, was attended by Meet Hayer,MP from Sangrur,MLA Kuldeep Singh and chairman of CTC group Charanjit Singh Channi besides many others.
“I am highly thankful to the club for honouring our students who excelled in the field of education.Both of the girls,from villages,had topped the exams held in March last year.We are committed to further leave no stone unturned for the better education to our students.I congratulate the students and their parents for their dedication to the studies,” said Sandeep Thapar,deputy director of SMD group of educational institutions Kotsukhia.
