Despite the scientific claims that nothing can treat cancer except the best possible available options in Allopathy, still cancer patients are being ferried to some village of Rajasthan, district Disawar.

The posts to woo the patients are being circulated on social media about it.

One of the persons, who was arranging a bus to the remote village of the neighbouring state claimed that they are working just for the sake of the welfare of the common man.

He also claimed that they had first sent the father of their friend, who had some chest cancer and he got well.

“We just charge Rs 6000 for the seat of the bus which we arrange to take the patient there. The food and shelter is free. The patient has to stay there for three days and they charm the patients for three days. The the patient comes back and is asked to return after a month. The second, they(the charmers) advises the patients to keep some precautions of eating,” said Rupesh Sharma from Jaitu.

Rupesh claims that this remedy works.

“There is a Gujjar family which has been blessed to cure it by charm. They charge nothing. The village have a population of around 600-700 but if you go, you will see thousands of patients there. We have already booked  a bus which got full from the adjoining places and now we have booked another bus which would leave soon. The people from around the places are getting their tickets booked. The patients go their in pain and come back with satisfaction,” he claims.

About precaution, he says that the patients should not drink, take some other drug, not eat jaggery,Shakkar, any oil and food cooked from Basin. But one can take sugar.

When confronted that it is not believable as per the scientific research, he claims that it is a miracle.

“We want to save lives of the hopeless people and we want our posts to share more and more and we also want announcements to be made about it,” says Bhupesh when contacted over phone.

Civil surgeon Faridkot speak

When contacted,Dr Chander Sekhar Kakkar, civil surgeon Faridkot said that it is nothing but a trap to lure the hopeless patients who are mentally broken.

“No charms can treat cancer. The government has constructed many multispeciality hospitals for its treatment. But there are people who are fooling others. Actually, when a patient turns hopeless about his life and mentally disturbed, he tries to catch the last straw. Then these people come into play,” said Dr Sekhar.

“There are two types of lumps, benign and malignant. If one has benign tumour, it is not a threat to life as it does not expand and spread. But those who have malignant tumour, it is life threatening. Some people with harmless people may say that they are saved by the charms. But otherwise, nothing works except medical treatment,” he says.

About the rules and regulations to check this loot

“There is a magic remedy act.It can be applied but it is very weak. Unlike, PNDT act, which gives us too much power to check the crime,Magic Remedy act has little to check this unfortunate trend. However, it can be applied to control it to some extent,” said Dr Chander Sekhar Kakkar, civil surgeon Faridkot.
