Coming down heavily on the alleged remarks by Kultar Singh Sandhwan, the Kotkapura MLA and the Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha Punjab, Jagjeet Singh Dallewal on Sunday alleged that the whole AAP party emerged out of the protests.

“Kultar Singh Sandhwan and others who are now elected representatives of the AAP government had been sitting in the protests held by us.But after being elected and getting a chair ,Kultar Singh Sandhwan views us a jobless(Vehlars),” said Jagjeet Singh Dallewal, the state president of Bhartiya Kisan Union Sidhupur Ekta in a press release to the media on Sunday.

“Whatever the whole AAP leadership is saying particularly about the farming community is condemnable. The chief minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Singh Mann, who used to exhort the public to ask question from the being in power when he was out of power, now does not allow the people to approach near his stage,” said Dallewal in a press note to the media.

He further said that that trend of falsifying the facts and spreading lies against farmers is very condemnable.

“I also strongly condemn the statement of Kultar Singh Sandhwan in which he has allegedly said that jobless(vehlar) people come in front of him by taking flags and they are an obstacle to the development works of the government of Punjab. These are those people who got the chairs out of the p[rotests.THe most of the leaders of the AAP including Sandhwan used to sit in the protests of the farmers unions. The statement of Kultar Singh Sandhwan is full of arrogance and I strongly condemns it,” said Jagjeet Singh Dallewal.

In an interview to some of the independent you tube channels, Dallewal also referred to the time when Sandhwan had contacted him.

“There was an incident when Sandhwan and others held a protest against the looting of cancer medicines outside a chemist shop. But they had taken some wrong step in that protest. So police wanted to register a case against the protesters. They approached pradhan ji and we extended our support for the genuine cause that there should be no loot of the cancer patients.  Now Pradhan ji has openly spoken about it and we stand by our statement,” said Bohar Singh Rupian Wala, district president of BKU Sidhuppur Ekta when contacted over phone about this statement.

The next non-political SKM is going to be held on April 24 at Gurdwara Bowli Sahib.
