On Saturday, Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha, attended a meeting with commission agents’ representatives and labour union of grain market committee Kotkapura at the office of the ahartia association Kotkapura.
Ashok Kumar Goel and Mahesh Kataria, president and chairman of the association respectively said that the businessman community has felt relief from the crack down of the government on drugs.
“When there is no drugs, there is little crime and the businessman community can do business fearlessly which is in the interest of all,” they said.
They also apprised the Speaker about the problems of trasport and labour in the coming market season, to which the Speaker assured all proper management and hassle free procurement of the wheat.
He had a lunch at the association office along with the ahartias.
