The Bajakhana police of Faridkot district has booked an unidentified truck driver on the complaint of Amarinder Kaur,48,wife of Amar Siingh resident of Ran Singh Wala village.
Amarinder Kaur has said in his complaint that she along with her husband Amar Singh went out for morning walk along the National Highway 15 on Wednesday morning.
According to her, her husband had also a cycle with him.
On the return from the walk, her husband was walking along the road with his cycle when a over speeding ruck crushed him on the road leaving him dead on the spot.
The police have registered a case against the unidentified driver under section 106(death by negligence, punishment upto 5 years)/281 (Rash and negligent driving,6 months imprisonment)of BNS at police station Bajakhana and further investigation is on in the case.
