The Federation of Ahartia Association Punjab led by Vijay Kalra has said that it has postponed its strike due to the loss of the farmers because of the hailstorms and untimely rains.
“We always stand by the farmers.Our farmers have suffered a huge loss due to the bad weather, so we have called off the strike.The state government is making some arrangements with the union government to sort out our problems.So far the time being, we stand by with our farmers and support the state in distress.We are still hopeful of our demands met by the concerned,” said Vijay Kalra,speaking to the Punjab express.com.
