After the death of its president,Kulbhushan Rai Bhushi, the newly elected president of the associatrrion,Baljinder Kumar Garg alias Bunty Garg is not acceptable to the general house body of the Faridkot market commission agents, a meeting of which was held on April 6.
“We don’t accept Baljinder Kumar Garg alias Bunty Garg the president of our own association as he had got appointed himself without knowledge to us.Its patron,Varinder Kumar Bindri has claimed in the house meeting held on April 6 that he was appointed in abstenta and so he resigns from this post.We had called a meeting of the general house on April 6 and about 45 plus commission agents attended it out of the 70 and they said that they are going to appoint the three member committee to look after the commission agents during the season,” claimed Mohinder Bansal,one of the members of the association.
The three members committee includes Varinder Kumar Bindri,Rajkumar Machaki and advocate Pyush Bansal.They would look after the association for the season being,Mohinder Bansal said.
Earlier Baljinder Kumar alias Bunty Garg got himself appointed the president of the association,” said Mohinder Bansal,but with a thin majority.
when contacted,brother of the Bunty Garg,”Rakesh Garg said that his brother Bunty Garg was duly elected president of the association.As a team we are working,The patron’s resignation was accepted.They have formed a three member team. But my brother is the president.The Punjab president Vijay Kalra has accepted him as the president,he had been sitting with the president of Punjab in the meetings of the unions.He is the president elected by the association,” said Rakesh Garg,brother of the Bunty Garg.
“How can one attend the higher level meeting if one is not the presidnet?He asked.
He emphatically claimed that Vijay Kalra ji accepted him as the president of the association of Faridkot and so he is the president and that is why he was seen on even electronic media to be attending the meetings with the state president,” said Rakesh Garg.

when contacted by the Punjab express.com,Vijay Kalra, the state president of the Federation of the association of the ahartiya association said that he was aware of the issue.
“We have a democratic system.The state president of the association never are usually elected by votes or concensus by the local association.There is a democratic process.They are no appointed by the state head of the Federation..The one who gets majority is elected the president.When Bunty Garg was elected the president of the ahartia association Faridkot,he had many members with him.But now things may have changed.However, I have a long association with both the families and urge them to settle the issue amicably,” said Vijay Kalra when contacted.
They should stand united to solve the issues of the commssion agents,he said.
