Punjab state congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring on Friday clarified in Chandigarh that he had called the ” American bulls” to those who had continuously changed their parties.
” I have called the American bulls to those , who have changed 12-13 parties.Not one party, 8-9 parties.First of all they contested as an Independents, then Akali Dal, then Congress,and then BJP,then congress,then Akali dal and again BJP,then again congress,and these, the American bulls mow say that theirs position is the first.We have again joined the party,We had earlier left the party, but we have come back, But I say that I have to provide an opportunity to the common youth.As I was given a chance, there are many working in the local self government bodies.They say(The bulls) that they(the youth) can not enter into the election fray.They have earned a lot of money.Because of them, We have slipped down from 80 to 18.They have minted crores of rupees and say that they should be made to sit on the top.I told them that they had been given tickets since independence about 8 times and this is the dispute, the ticket has to be given to the new youth,” Raja Warring said.
But it is pertinent to mention that tickets for the state assembly elections have to be given by the party high command.
How much say may Raja Warring would have in the distribution of the tickets,only time will tell.

As for as Faridkot district is concerned, former Faridkot MLA Kushaldeep Singh Dhillon and former Kotkapura candidate, Ajaypal Singh Sandhu, who had unsuccessfully contested the Kotkapura assembly elections are the strong contenders of the tickets and their winnibiality can not be ignored.
From Jaitu, Darshan Singh Dhilwan had contested, but now Jaitu has many contenders for the ticket.
Dhanjeet Singh Dhani virk is another ticket aspirant from the assembly Halqa Kotkapura, but he is allegedly dwarfed against Ajaypal too much.
Channi allegedly lost the faith of party high command
Though Charanjit Singh Channi was a popular leader among most of the others and had a plus point of support from some Deras from Doaba and a particular section of people from Punjab, but allegedly revolting twice against the high command, only time would tell if the high command give him much weightage.Mostly, political parties, the high commands, tend to ignore the rebellious.
So, the people may have to wait for some time to see which faction leads the congress, but the infighting is certainly giving an edge to the ruling AAP party.
AAP is all happy that they have nearly allegedly purchased votes by offering freebies to all sections of society and their rivals are very weak so far.
As Rahul Gandhi plays the politics of the issues of the states and nation, state Punjab congress is devoid of any such ideology.The state leaders are allegedly in a race to do the leg pulling of each other.
