The District Health Department, Moga has achieved a prestigious State-level Award in recognition of its outstanding services, commitment to public welfare, and continuous efforts to strengthen the healthcare sector. This honour has become a matter of pride for the entire Moga district.
On this occasion, under the leadership of Dr. Ajay Kansal, Punjab President, Aggarwal Samaj Sabha, members of the Aggarwal Samaj Sabha felicitated Dr. Pardeep Kumar Mahindra, Civil Surgeon, Moga, at the district level for receiving special recognition at the state-level function.
It is noteworthy that due to the Health Department’s excellent services in the HIV/AIDS and PNDT awareness and implementation campaigns, District Moga has been continuously honoured at state-level functions by the Hon’ble Health and Family Welfare Minister of Punjab, Dr. Balbir Singh. The Health Department, Moga received widespread appreciation at the state level for effective execution of various programmes, timely reporting, strong teamwork, and delivery of quality healthcare services.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pardeep Kumar Mahindra, Civil Surgeon, Moga, said that this award is the result of the collective hard work, dedication, and service spirit of the entire Health Department, including doctors, nursing staff, ASHA workers, and field teams. On this occasion, Dr. Ritu Jain, District Family Welfare Officer, Moga, was also honoured. She stated that the department remains committed to providing quality healthcare services to the public in the future as well.
He congratulated the entire staff and said that this recognition is a proud moment for Moga district and will further motivate the department to deliver even better services in the times to come.
