Faridkot police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested 4 persons from near Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Chowk in Faridkot and claimed to have recovered 310 grams of Heroin, which is a commercial recovery made in the presence of Tarlochan Singh,DSP SD Faridkot.
“We have arrested Jagmeet Singh and Sandeep Singh,both residents of Faridkot and Mehakdeep Singh and Harjeet Singh, both residents of village Dohak of Muktsar.They were sitting in a parked car and when the car and the occupants were searched, the police recovered 310 grams of heroin besides a small computerized scale from their possession,” said Pragya Jain,SSP Faridkot in a press release to the media.
All the accused have been produced in the court and further investigation would be carried out to check their backwards and forwards links in the police remand,” the SSP said.
The police have also seized the car belonging to the accused.
Two cases have already been registered against the accused.
A section of NDPS has been registered at city police station Faridkot.
