Parmjeet Singh son of Bachan Singh was alleegdly killed by his son Pargat Singh on late Thursday evening.
“The accused hit his father on his head with a blunt wooden log last night after some altercation. The accused Pargat Singh is allegedly mentally upset and was being treated for the same,” the locals said.
He is also a drug addict according to the family members and village residents.
The police have registered a case at police station Sadar Kotkapura in this regard.
