Free health cards at 157 common service centres in the district without any slip-Punamdeep Kaur,DC Faridkot

The deputy commissioner Faridkot on Tuesday has said that the health insurance cards for the insured treatment upto Rs 10 lakh per family are being issued at all the 157  Common Service Centres in the district free of cost.

“Any person who wants to avail this service, may produce his Aadhaar card and self declaration to get the insurance cards issued. The government is committed to provide free health services upto Rs 10 lakh,” the DC said.

She said that special camps are also being organised at village level and appealed to the people to attend the camps to avail this service.

“I appeal to all locals to come forward and avail the benefit from this very valuable service by the government,” the DC has said.

Rs 10 lakh cashless health insurance is the flagship scheme of the Punjab government led by CM Bhagwant Singh Mann,which continued to get delayed and now has been ruled out with much fanfare.

“The cashless treatment is being provided free of any cost in all the empanelled hospitals,” the DC said.
