DC Faridkot Punamdeep Kaur on Tuesday held a meeting with ASHA workers(Accredited Social Health Workers).
‘The government has availed the services of the ASHA workers to ensure that there is 100 percent enrolment of the beneficiaries for cashless treatment upto Rs 10 lakh.The work is already going on at 157 common service centres in the district.The people can get themselves enrolled for cashless treatment upto Rs 10 lakh under the flagship scheme of the state government under the CM Bhagwant Singh Mann,” said Punamdeep Kaur,DC Faridkot in a press release to the media today.
“Any beneficiary who wants to get himself enrolled does not require any slip.He only needs to produce his Aadhaar card and voter card apart from a self declaration,” the DC said.
She further said that if there is any vacant place,where no CSC is working, the eligible candidates can apply to get the CSC and he/she would be allotted.
The ASHA workers would also be provided per card incentives for their engagement in enrolment of the insurance scheme.
“The beneficiary can get treatment upto Rs 10 lakh for his family at the government or all empanelled hospitals.So people must ensure that they get their insurance cards issued,” the DC appealed to the residents of the district.
Dr Vishavdeep Goel,DMC,Dr Vivek Rijora,district family welfare officer besides Dr Sarbdeep Singh Romana,Suraj Prakash and Sandeep Chokra were present in the meeting.
