Raghav Chadha,the Rajya Sabha AAP MP from Punjab,who was deputy leader of the party in the upper house has been allegedly replaced by Ashok Mittal today,as per the media reports.
Raghav,37,a CA has been very close to the AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal for long.
But today he has allegedly been replaced by the AAP writing to the secretariat of the Rajya Sabha that Chadha has been replaced by Ashok Mittal.
So,Chadha has lost his time to speak in the Rajya Sabha to Mittal, as he would no longer be granted time to speak in the Rajya Sabha.
Nothing is certain about the politics.The party spremo always cut the senior leaders or other office bearers to a size.
But Raghav Chadha,knowingly on ionknowingly, was not allegedly toeing the party line.
He was becoming a talk on social media for his speeches.
He raised the issue of the mobile recharge of mobile for 28 days instead of a month.
He demanded that if one recharges his mobile,he is provided some limited data and charged for that.But unused data is not carried forwards.
He also spoke up about maternity leave,demanding for both the parents.
eHe also raised the issue of the traffic of the crowded cities of India.
Besides that,Chadha also spoke up about the overweight bags of the airline fares.
Most importantly,Raghav Chadha spoke up against the exploitation of the gig workers.
He had allegedly become the voice of the gig workers,demanding to stop their exploitation and ending the 10 minute delivery time.
It gained much popularity for Chadha on the social media platforms and may be a reason to mute his voice so that he may not undersize his mentors.
It is not that Raghav may be afloat to the party line,he may be doing something great for his prospective career as he is also a seasoned politician.
Ashok Mittal, now
Mittal,62, is an MP,elected from the state of PUnjab, for Rajya Sabha in 2022.He was businessman and then turned politician.He is the founder and Chancellor of Lovely Professional University Jalandhar.He is a law graduate from GNDU Amritsar.
It is pertinent to mention that Chadha was groomed by the AAP and had been given many prestigious posts across the party platforms.
The party has allegedly described it as a normal practice.
