The Punjab government led by chief minister Bhagwant Mann has started the 32 services related to the department of transport and revenue.
“This move of the government aims to provide hassle free services in easy and transparent manner.Now the people can avail these services at their door steps or at Suvidha Kendra.They have just to call at toll free no 1076,” said Punamdeep Kaur,DC Faridkot in press note to the media.
The DC has said that 5 services related to the revenue department including the deed registration,preparing manuscripts of the deeds,submission of deeds for pre-assessment,payment of the stamp duty and application for the registration of mutations have been included into these services. Apart from the 5 services of the revenue department,27 servies of the transport department have been included into these.
Most of the services related to the transport department are about driving licences.
“I appeal to the locals to avail most of the benefit from these services being provided by the government as they would save a lot of their time and all related works would be completed in time and without any botheration,” said Punamdeep Kaur,DC Faridkot.
