Punjab government announces a compensation of Rs 10 lakh,Speaker Rs 2 lakh,apart from the assurance of the government jobs and funding the daughters of the deceased farmers

According to a press note released by the DPRO Faridkot7, the state government has issued a relief of Rs 10 lakh to the deceased farmer brothers,Jaskaran Singh and JAswinder Singh, in their earlier 40ies,who had committed suidice on March 23 by throwing themselves under the train.

The heavy and unbearable debt had allegedly pushed them to take such an unfortunate step.

The state government has announced Rs 10 lakh compensation for the next of kin of the two brothers,besides the cooperative loan waiver and allegedly assured the government jobs to the widows of the deceased broithjers.The government has also announced to fund the education of the small daughters of the deceased.

Apart from that,Kultar Singh Sandhwan,speaker PVS, announced a grant of Rs 2 lakh from his own funds.

Mantar Singh Brar, former MLA and Chief parliamentary secretary of Punjab claimed that the SGPC has granted a relief of Rs 2 lakh to the family of the deceased.

Their last rites were performed on April 1,Wednesday at a local Gurdwara Sahib.
