SKM (non political) is all set to welcome its leader with hundreds of farmers when it head enters Faridkot on March 6-Bohar Singh Rupian Wala

Bohar Singh Rupian Wala, district president of BKU Sidhupur Ekta on Wednesday said that the party workers are all set to welcome its state chief Jagjeet Singh Dallewal when he enters Faridkot on March 6.

“The hundreds of the farmers would welcome him with tractor-trolley loads of the kissan union activists when he enters the district on Friday,” said Bohar Singh who convened a meeting of party workers and the office bearers in Faridkot today.

Jagjeet Singh Dallewal, the head of the Punjab of BKU Sidhupur-Ekta is on an awakening of farmers tour across the country.

“Earlier, the East India company had entered India for the purpose of the trade, but later on, it set up an empire in India. To get the British defeated and buy independence for India, countless people had to sacrifice their lives,” said Bohar Singh with a veiled attack on current Modi government

‘Now out government has bowed down to the pressure of the US and signed a free trade agreement which is against the interests of the farmers and others. We oppose it and want to safeguard the interests of the farmers. If the heavy imports are allowed duty free, the farmers of India would not be able to compete them and loose soon,” said Bohar Singh, in a press release to the media today.
