Nominations from December1 to 4,scrutiny on 5 and withdrawal on December 6.
Polling on December 14th and counting would be held on December 17th.

The 10 zones of the zila parishads and 75 zones of three block samitis would go into polls on December 14th, as per the notification of the Punjab Election Commissioner, said Punamdep Kaur,DC Faridkot in a press note today.
“The candidates can file their nomination from December 1,11AM to 3 PM which continues till December 4.The nominations would be scrutinized on December 5 and the last date for the withdrawal of the nomination would be December 6,” said Punamdeep Kaur-DC cum district returning officer Faridkot.
The DC said that the nomination for Zila Parishads would be filed at the office of the ADC (general) Faridkot while the nomination for the Block Samities would be filed at the office of the SDMs of the respective tehsils.
The voting, with ballot papers, would be done on December 14 from 8AM to 4 PM and the counting would be held on December 17th,” the DC said.
The DC further said that code of conduct has come in place immediately after the announcement of the elections for the Block Samitis and Zila Parishads and for further information, the website of the state election commission can be logged in.
She assured the free and fair elections in the district.
