West Point marked its Silver Jubilee—25 years of excellence—with great pride and patriotic spirit as the school conducted the Trooping of the School Flag, celebrating its new milestone as an NCC School.The celebrations took place on the school’s impressive 200-metre athletic ground, featuring a range of athletic events including the 100m race, relay races, and an impressive PT display. The cultural segment showcased vibrant dance performances based on the theme “Nav Ras.”To recognise achievement and inspire excellence, medals and trophies were awarded to the winners of the athletic events. Children who had excelled in academics and students who had won gold at national levels were also honoured during the ceremony.The Chief Guest for the occasion was Advocate Birinder Singh, brother of Sardar Kultar Singh Sandhwa, Speaker, Punjab Vidhan Sabha.The Guest of Honour was S. Sukhjeet Singh Dhilwan,Chairman, District Planning Committee (DPC), Faridkot andZone Coordinator, Central Zone — Nasha Mukti Morcha, Government of Punjab.The event was further graced by the presence of distinguished district sports personalities: • Prof. Darshan Singh Sandhu • Satwinder Singh Sandhu (Retd.
