Raghbir Singh Brar Faridkot The Faridkot police on Friday claimed to have recovered 261 grams of heroin and Rs54880 drug money from the possession of one Amar Khanna son of Shadi Lal,resident of Jatinder Chowak Faridkot. According to the police, he is the main supplier of the drugs. His name had reportedly cropped up during the interrogation of another accused Sanjeet Kumar alias Teetu .Teetu was arrested with 253 grams of heroin and one computerized scale on March 22. Teetu, duting his investigation revealed that Amar Khanna used to supply drugs to him. Raghbir Singh Brar Faridkot The Bajakhana police of Faridkot district has booked an unidentified truck driver on the complaint of Amarinder Kaur,48,wife of Amar Siingh resident of Ran Singh Wala village. Amarinder Kaur has said in his complaint that she along with her husband Amar Singh went out for morning walk along the National Highway 15 on Wednesday morning. According to her, her husband had also a cycle with him. On the return from the walk, her husband was walking along the road with his cycle when a over speeding ruck crushed him on the road leaving him dead on the spot. Chandigarh, March 26: Taking a historic decision to check the illegal mining in state, the Punjab Cabinet led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday nod for the enactment of the Punjab Regulation of Crusher Units Act 2025. A decision to this effect was taken in the meeting of the Council of Ministers held here under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister here at his official residence. The Cabinet have approved to bring this act in the ongoing session of the state assembly. This will strengthen the Department in regulating the activities of Crusher Units and Screening Plants which are engaged in processing of sand and gravel.
