The accused have been identified as Kulwinder Singh, Patwari of Halqa Waringkhera in Mukatsar Sahib district and his assistant Ashok Kumar.Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the state VB said both the above said accused were booked following a complaint lodged by a resident of Waringkhera village on the Chief Minister’s Anti Corruption Action Line.He further added that the complainant had alleged that the said patwari had demanded Rs 1,500 through his aforementioned accomplice for demarcating his land but bribe money was eventually settled at Rs 1,000. ...
