Chief Minister Health Scheme: 74000 people have registered so far in Bathinda district: Deputy Commissioner

Under the Chief Minister Health Scheme, so far more than 74,000 people have got their registration done and 1628 people have received free treatment.

Shri Rajesh Dhiman, Deputy Commissioner Bathinda, gave this information while addressing a meeting convened to review the Chief Minister Health Scheme. He said that people are getting free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh in government and non-government empanelled hospitals.

He said instructions have been given to the health department to ensure that one officer is assigned in every hospital to implement this scheme. This officer will be responsible for smoothly implementing this scheme and will coordinate with the district administration if any difficulty arises in its implementation.

He directed all Sub Divisional Magistrates of the district to take daily reports regarding their respective jurisdictions under the Chief Minister Health Scheme and monitor it constantly. Deputy Commissioner said that special camps are being held at 58 places in the district to ensure that every resident of Bathinda benefits from this scheme. Registration for this card can also be done at the Common Service Centers in the district. He said that these camps are being continuously held at 55 places in Bathinda district.

These camps are being held at Village Tungwali, Jogewala, Kanakwal, Phullo Khari, Talwandi Ward No. 3, 4 Raman Mandi Ward No. 7, Kothaguru, Rampura City, Mauran, Kesar Singh Wala, Adampura, Bhodipura, Dhipali, Dialpura Bhaika, Hamirgarh, Aklia Jalal, Bathinda Ward No. 12, 35, 21, 24, 25, 28, 43, 44, 49 and 50, Gehiri Devi Nagar, Bhisiana, Kotshamir Ward No. 2, Kotfatta Ward No. 8, Sangat Mandi Ward No. 3, Dian, Machhana, Bahiman Diwana, Bir Talab Basti 2-3, Baba Jiwan Singh Nagar, Bhucho Mandi Ward No. 2, Goniana Ward No. 2, Lehragaga Ward No. 1, Nathana Ward No. 2, Kothe Inder Singh Wala, Kothe Lal Singh Wala, Mehima Swai, Kothe Buddh Singh Wala, Dan Singh Wala, Kothe Spura Singh Wala, Buggaran, Ballo, Mandi Khurd, Kuttiwal Kalan, Ramgarh Bhunder, Manakkhana, Rajgarh Kubbe, Sooch and Maur Mandi Ward No. 4.

Prominent among others present at meeting included Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Madam Kanchan, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development) Shri Rajdeep Singh Brar, Sub Divisional Magistrate Rampura I.A.S. Shri Sunil Phogat, I.A.S. (U.T.) Madam Harshita, Sub Divisional Magistrate Bathinda Shri Balkarn Singh, SDM Maur Shri Harpreet Atwal, Chief Minister Field Officer Shri Ramanjeet besides officers from various departments etc. were present.
