Does the AAP government led by the chief minister Bhagwant Singh Mann only want to encash the free power supply to the domestic sector into votes,in approaching assembly elections,where it is free up to 600 units for two months .The answer is yes if we believe online surveys allegedly by the AAP government.
“Sir, I am speaking from the honorable chief minister Bhagwant Mann’s office and my name is Ajay Kumar, the caller identifies himself. Can I speak to you, when I said yes, the caller asks me many questions like if I get the free power supply?Do I save money because of this? Was the power bill more during the last government etc.
But I am only satisfied with the day time supply of the power to the tubewells and regular canal water.
Free power supply is only ruining the state.
This was a call I received on Saturday, December 13, at 8.13 AM.
Today I received a call which my service provider displayed as fraud at 3.05 PM.
The caller again claimed that she was speaking from the office of the Chief minister Bhagwant Mann.I confronted her that she was conducting a survey for elections on behalf of a private company,but the caller does not admit.
I want your feedback, We are speaking from the office of the CM Bhagwant Mann,this is not a fraud call.
“There is free power supply in Punjab, we are getting that feedback,” the caller said.
“Do you have your power bills zero sometimes,” the caller asks and I reply yes.
“In the summer, we used to get power bills but in the winter season, we used to get about Rs less than 6000 for three bills,ie,for three months,” I reply.
This way,the consumers in general are not getting much relief.If they consume 601 units in two months,they shall have to pay the all the bill for the units consumed.
I point out to the caller about the fiscal health of the POWERcom,generation and distribution.
But I think actually, there are only two things that happened better way,first of all the farmers get tube well power supply during the day and then there is satisfactory supply of canal water.
Maybe, the calls were made by some other agency not hired by the AAP,or fraudulent,but still they have a lot to say about the free domestic supply upto 600 units for two months.
It could be a main stay for AAP to woo the voters as it has failed on many other fronts leaving an
unbridged gap between the expectations of the people and its promises and works done.

Since the AAP came to power, it rode on two three main guarantees. The 600 units of free power supply was one of the major guarantees if offered and honoured to.
Many households got separate power meters installed.
But many households,which were a single unit before,got the split Meters by alledledly fraudulent way ,conspiring with the powercom officials. They are one unit,but to avail free power supply they are two or three.

Then it led to the corruption.
The sources claimed that if you have consumed 650 units instead of free 600 for two months ,you will have pay all the bill,even if you consumed only one unit over this limit.
In that case,either some meter readers contact you for the reading of witin free supply or you may contact them.If you give some money,they may record your units within the free power supply.These are the serious questions which needed to be addressed.
