Raghbir Singh Brar Faridkot Deputy commissioner Faridkot Punamdeep Kaur has urged the farmers not to harvest wet crops and bring the moisture laden produce to the grain markets of the district. “The farmers should harvest the crop in the daytime and bring the paddy produce with only 17 percent of moisture content which is permissible.The  wet produce leads to  glut in the grain markets as it can not be purchased as per the specification of the government procurement agencies,” she said.
