40 years old link drain needs reconstruction, farmers complain of crop loss as it gets broken

Earlier the drain was supposed to be reconstructed with a budget of Rs 7 crore which has not jumped over three fold,upto Rs 22 crore. The drain carries all waste water of Kotkapura town, with a population of over 1 lakh. She said that in case a borewell or well is dug up in  the district, a 15 days prior information must be given to the concerned officials.
